Honda
Honda Rubicon. Only had it a year but I really like it. Before that I had a 1990 model 300. It never failed me. Before that I had a 185S three wheelerand it was almost indestructible. So I got another Honda. Someone would have to be a heck of a salesman to get me on any other kind.
well, since i haven't owned a honda since i had a 125 three wheeler when i was 14, I can't say which is better from personal experience, BUT, i have a Yamaha Grizzly 600 right now and the only complaint I can muster up is it's size...but it still turns on a dime, so size doesn't matter (lol ever heard that before?)..Most duck hunters don't need a 4 wheeler that'll do 60 mph, but this one will...push button 4x4, and automatic..I didn't think I'd like automatic either, but now I love it..It's hard to ride father in laws hionda 300 now...shifting and such...lol..I have to choke it when it's cold and hasn't been cranked in a few days, but it's always started and run like a champ...oh, another thing I could say is it's a little light in the rear end......hit the throttle and the back wheels spin easily on a gravel road.......maybe it's just too powerful!!

Started with an '81 200 3 wheeler, then a '97 300 4 wheeler, now an '02 rancher 350...All honda's and all great machines. I have buddies with polaris, yamaha, and have seen others. I think for reliability honda is the way to go. All the bikes are pretty good these day's. I've seen a suzuki go through way more mud than mine will go thru, but don't know about the longevity (sp). You don't see too many old yamaha 3 wheelers in the back of many pick ups; you see a ton of old hondas. It's kinda like Honda/yamaha, ford/chevy, benelli/beretta etc, it's personal preference. ..

I bought a new Honda Recon ES last Christmas. I couldn't afford one of the big boys.
I haven't had a lick of trouble out of it and have had it buried in mud up to the crank case. It just keeps going and I have never been stuck.

The Grizzly
You may can get by on your Honda, but who wants to just get by. This is my 3rd season on a Griz 660, push button 4wd (slip and full lock), auto trans, and some 27" 589's. I cannot imagine that it gets any better than that on another bike. Got to agree on the Benelli. Would not leave home without it. I'm with you Duck Nutt, probably too much power!
Polaris Sportsman 500... THE WAY OUT
. Had the bike 3 1/2 yrs, only been stuck once (high centered) and never let me down in the duck hole *knocking on wood*. Parked it in water up to the bottom of the tank and left to hunt all day many a time, with no problems. 27" Gators and a basket rack are the only mods I got. I've pulled out my buddy's 450ES w/ 27" 589s 3 times this year already. I say we set up a MSDUCKS RICE FIELD MUD DRAGS
, Honda vs Polaris, and settle this dispute once and for all.
