O.K..... which 4-wheeler do you use? Automatic or manual shift ??
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

Automatic.

For those of you old enough to remember lock out hubs in trucks, it is kinda like that. When they first came out with push button 4 wheel drive, everyone said they would never trust the automatic deals and didn't want anything but lock out hubs.

However, the push button is so much better, you can hardly find anyone that wants lock out hubs now days. Same thing with automatic transmissions in 4 wheelers. Once you get use to it, you don't want anything else.

Automatic? No way for me. In a pinch(MUDHOLE) a manual will get you out everytime before an auto. I am not talking about a normal mudhole, I am talking about a plowed bean feild or something like that. REAL MUD!! As far as manufacturers, I have only had Hondas and never had any trouble. I still have a 125 3-wheeler from the 80s. It has been in the shop once. I dont even change the oil on it. I think the best 4wheeler is the 300, but I have had a couple of foremans and they arent far behind.

Still use the good ole' manual shift. When it dies I might decide to give an automatic a try.

This might even cause a bigger argument than, "what is the best shotgun?"
Which of course is a Benelli.

Honda is by far, from the number of bikes still on the trail, the most dependable bike offered. Also it is the most well rounded atv out there.

How many old Polokaris's or arctic craps or suzuki's do you see in the back of trucks going down the highway at 4:30 in the morning? Not very many.

Polaris, as long as you can keep it together it is a good bike. Most people who love them get a new one every year or two. After that well, I hope you have a tool kit with you.

Yamaha has started to get there stuff together, suspension still feels funny to me.

I ride Hondas, and yes I know it is 3 wheel drive and I know the brakes have about a 2 year lifespan (maybe less), and I also know it is going to start up everytime I go out. No questions. Mine has been through lots of thick stuff, I live riding distance from the Arkabutla Lake bottom. And until yesterday, when I got an excellent deal on some Vampires and ITP's, I ran stock wheel tire combo. Haven't gotten to try them out yet.

Honda and Charter! Rip Em I like the way you think! My 350 ES hasn't failed yet, heck I think it'll probably outlast me!

SBE let me know how the tires do on that scooter, my factory tires are starting to wear enough that I might have to replace 'em before next season.
