O.K., guys, I'm back from lockin'-in a 'killer' lease in La this weekend, AND I'M FEELIN'GOOD ! 'Can't wait for the season to open!

I'll open the gate at 7:00am. (I'll post directions on another thread). I have a big grill/smoker that I will fire-up at 9:00. Greenhead22 is bringing the 2-burner, I'm bringin' the propane. The Clubhouse has a kitchen with plenty of plugs (I'll bring another crock pot, Jeff).

BRING YOU OWN food, ice, beverages, guns, shells, hearing protection, 'OFF', and Sun-block.

Here are the charges:

$3/person (to help defray cost of charcoal and picnic items).

$4/round (25 targets) for skeet, trap, and sporting clays (30 targets). Rounds for shooting may be purchased at the cashier's table in the clubhouse, prior to shooting. You will then, give your ticket to the puller at whatever field you shoot on.

The shotgun fields will be open all day. The clubhouse is air-conditioned and has comfortable lounging furniture. There is also a 8' billiard table and T.V. Should the need to stay overnight arise, we will make arrangements accordingly. There are trailer hook-ups (self-contained units only) at the club for $5/night. Bring your wives and children.

There IS a small pond, but will be TOO shallow to really cool your dog off. Also, the pond is in-line with shot-fall from station 1 skeet houses. If you choose to bring a dog. They must be on a leash or in a kennel ('same applies to ill-mannered children).

Everyone is my personal guest. I will try to make sure that you have a good time, but I'll need everyone's cooperation with the club rules (posted at the club).

"DADS"...bring those young hunters! We'll designate a field for intruction, just for children and parents wanting to teach their kids how to shoot (or visa-versa). Charges will be reduced for this activity and based on number of shells shot. Again, you must furnish gun and shells.

Don't forget about the TRADING TABLE. Bring all your duck hunting/reloading related items for sale/trade. I've got Herter's decoys, a jon boat, MEC presses and other stuff to sell/trade. Be SURE all items are tagged with owner's name and asking price.

I'll get some name tags, so we can identify everyone.

I'm sure I've omitted something. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone, (I think) and hope we ALL have a GREAT time! Any questions...post under "Cookout Questions" or e-mail me at randydennis@yahoo.com and I will try to answer them ASAP.
