Who has killed a banded duck other than a mallard???

I hear most people that kill banded ducks are mostly mallards but I know they band other ducks but just don't hear alot of people killing banded gadwalls, shovlers, teal, etc. but I know they band all kinds. Just taking a pole of what ducks other than mallards that you have killed that were banded.

i have killed a ton of mallard and pintails that were banded ,a few gadwalls , teal , widgeon and woodies that were banded also.

I've personally killed 2 banded BWT, 9 wood ducks, a few mallards, two pintail, and 1 canvasback. I have never seen a banded gray duck. I know they exist, but have never seen one of those. Oh well maybe in the next 27 years of hnting I'll take care of that.

I have killed banded mallards, wood Ducks, and blue winged teal. I have seen banded mottled ducks, pintails and GW teal. Like Jeff, I have not seen a banded grayduck/gadwall, but I reckon if they will band a sawbill, they band grayducks. Of the folks that have killed banded ducks in my clubs over the years, I have seen more banded woodies than anything else. I guess its just where we hunt.

My wife killed a banded gadwall on opening day of the 2003-04 season. Fortunately for her, she was the only one that shot at the duck - saved a great debate, I'm sure. That's the only banded gadwall I have ever encountered out of the many that we have shot.
