Can you imagine the debt if everyone recieved free health care? If the American public would stand up, things could be different. Here is an example. Barry Obama just passed the SCHIPS bill that Bush vetoed 3 times. Well, the media said Bush hated kids and was not worried about them. Barry and his posse love the children or so the media and left side want you to believe. SCHIPS was free child insurance for a family making less than 48k(I believe). Now the new bill is for a family making less than 69k and also for "children" up to 26 yrs of age. Give me a break. But people across the nation did not speak up to their politicians, because the majority thought this was a good thing for the children. Nope, first step to becoming the USSA.

People "did not speak up to their politicians" because they are being grossly misinformed by a media that is about as far from objective and balanced as can be imagined. The MEDIA is the problem with this country - including pigs like Michael Moore.

Duckdawg10 you have a good point. I can honestly say I don't know much about Micheal Moore. I am just tired of paying alot and getting next to nothing in return. I am for sure not an expert on any of this I just see American jobs going away and my income decreasing while everything else keeps getting more expensive. Why are the jobs leaving? Why is health care free to some people yet I have to pay? What is the deal? Who can I ask what to do when I have no manufacturers to do work for were they all went? My ears are open and if Mike Moore has something to say I am gonna listien.

Photoshop-I will say this. Get involved. Dont watch fox, msnbc, etc....Read, research on your own. Get people around you involved. I agree. I hate to work my butt off and continue to see my paycheck go to bums. Especially illegal aliens! This administration could possibly damage the United States and my beliefs (and I assume yours) beyond repair. To many people would rather watch American Idol and MTV than learn about what is going on in the world. This new bailout plan has approxiamatly 40 new government programs that give to the poor otherwise known as the idiots who know nothing about their finances. For example. I make 40k, I think I will buy a 300K house, a new Tahoe, an IPhone, and I will get me a WII also. I will pay 100$ a month on this. Whoops, I cant pay. Please obama, bail me out. I have. I found it hilarious that he chose Canada as a representative of how great health care could be. I lived in Canada for 16 years and KNOW how bad health care is there. It sounds all warm and fuzzy, "FREE HEALTH CARE!" Tell that to my best friends dad up in Canada who just died less than a month ago. He was diagnosed with liver disease over 4 years ago. He needed a transplant. The Mayo Clinic told him so on there visit down to Minnisota because they couldn't get a specialist to look at him in Canada. But in Canada there are 10x the stipulations to get on the list, it took 3 YEARS to get on the list. By the time he was on the list, the 6'2" 200lb, extremely active 50 year old man I knew, was a shadow of his former self. He was confined to a bed and 140lbs, and looked 20 years older. Then 6 months later they had a liver for him, BUT he was too sick to get it they said. Again, 2 months later he had improved and he was ready to have the transplant. But that surgery was cancelled because he was too HEALTHY! The man who was basically living in a hospital was too healthy. He got an infection in November and the doctors said that he wouldn't make it thru the night and they wouldn't give him any more medical attention. He pulled thru the infection by a miracle and came out of the coma he was in and was put back on the transplant list, only to be denied once again for a transplant in December. He died in January.
My uncles sister (also in Canada) found a lump in her breast, and went to the doctor. He said that she needed to get a mamogram and have it the lump tested. She was able to get both of those test a mere... 6 MONTHS LATER when she was diagnosed with cancer. By that time the cancer had become too far advanced and she died 1 year later.
I am 26 years old and can tell you dozens of other stories similar to these that have touched my life.
Another point that is always neglected is how it is not "free" healthcare in Canada. If you think taxes are bad down here, try paying a 50% federal income tax. That's what it is up there. That's what it takes to make it "free". So that would make most people's federal taxes double! If that is cheaper than what you are paying now, then you are in the extreme minority of people out there, and I feel bad for you, but the wonderful consolation you have is that down here you get to choose your doctor. That and the fact that if you ever do have a serioius problem, you WILL be able to be helped here and not have to wait months or years to be seen by the specialist that can help you.

Michael Moore is scum. When the banks crashed last year, he was quoted in saying: "this is the end of Capitalism! Good riddence, it never did anyone any good." It sure as hell did him good. Socialism would have prevented him from making a fraction of what he makes. A socialist government would probably prevent him from eating so much and making himself so fat.
