I just had a guy call me from around Greenville. It seems he can't find anyone interested in hunting his 1000 acres of rice fields. He said he didn't even mess with clipping the levies. He decided to give up on trying to lease it out. He said he was faxing me over a written permission slip for me and whoever else I decide to bring with me to hunt. Oh did I mention the cabin. Well never mind I am sure everyone else has a "perfect" spot to go to.

I might not even bother going myself.

Hey, listen to this (since we're on the subject of incredible luck). 'Got home yesterday and walked into the reloading room and found a MEC 'Grabber'(12ga), 5K primers and 5K wads, 8# 'Red Dot', 10 bags o' shot, and about 500 once-fired 'AA' hulls. [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

'Asked my wife why she pulled all that stuff out in the floor. 'Said one of her friend's husband gave it to us for 'dog-sitting' a couple o' times. [img]images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img]

Looking at some of his 'attempts' at handloading, he probably has 1/2 o' bag of shot in his carpet......'don't think he had the patience for loadin'. [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img] What a guy! [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

I plan on loading those hulls up and giving them to him outa 'gratitude'. Ain't life 'sweet'. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Well I just woke up from my dream!!

(oh is that what you have to do to up your member rating?)

Had some of you going?

I do have access to around a thousand acres in Humphreys Cty. But it sure as heck wasn't planted in rice. Was trying to yank some chains!

Broken up into 200-400 acre plots. Mostly planted in Milo that molded and was plowed under. Owner planted wheat on most.

Will let you know how many geese are there.
Maybe someone will want to cover part of the territory!
