A Very Big Thank you to CC

Postby drake1 » Tue Jan 27, 2009 3:35 pm

CC,

I just wanted to say Luke had a great season, still needs to work on his steadiness in the blind as you know, but had a great season. Thanks to you, your hard work and patience he is and going to be a very very special dog. I can't say enough on how much I appreciate your professionalism from the day I spoke to about purchasing Luke to the day I picked him up from his training. As you know he is also part of the family and I (especially his momma) was a bit hesitate to let him go off to train, but with your work habits and patience with Luke, I would trust you with my dog anytime.

I know it took a little extra work for you to get him right, especially Momma's long apron strings you had to cut, which by the way are back accept I am not letting it get as bad as it was. He still sometimes has his little hard headed puppy way of thinking and likes to test you, but once he gets in water he knows it's on and he preformed even better than I thought he would for his first year of hunting. He loves to retrieve and he loves ducks!!

So, again I say thank you very much, I greatly appreciate it. I will e-mail you some pictures and give you a call.

Good chit! Nothing better than out of the blue compliments!! Nice going. Says a lot about a folks, on both sides. I will say this, CC helped me ton's with my new pup in what seems like many years ago, but only about two or so in reality. I put many miles on the POS truck driving his way to learn a thing or to.......and would do it all again. BUT............we all know in my case.........IT'S ALL DOG BABY............ALL DOG!!

Mark,

I was speaking with Alan earlier and he told about it and that I needed to come, so yes, I am thinking about bringing Luke to Vicksburg. Luke and I are amateurs when it comes to field trails and so forth, so ya'll would have to go easy on us, but i really think Luke and I would enjoy it.

Thanks for asking.

P.S. Alan, as I told you earlier yes Luke still runs around like his booty is on fire after he is let out of his kennel, all I can do is look and laugh at him. As far as a hunt next year with Luke and I - you got it, mark it down.

Erik
