Call for Beginner?

Postby Side Kick » Sun Jan 25, 2009 9:18 pm

What's the best call for someone to call decent on? I've got a RNT Hunter Series and sounds all right. I was thinking about another RNT or an Echo. Anyone have suggestions?

Haydels DR85 without a doubt. I have bought the expensive calls and none are as good as the DR85.

Haydel Redleg is a good call but if you want to try your hand at a single reed try the RNT Microhen, it requires little air pressure to work.

If you are wanting an acrylic call try the RNT Short Barrel or an Original if you need it to be louder.

I agree ! Another inexpensive call good for starters would be the original Duck Commander .
