Got on a couple good hunts with my brother this year. It was a major goal of mine and Im glad I got to share the time with him. Being away at school all the time is hard on the both of us.
This first one is from South LA it was an awesome hunt on Christmas Eve.

Then 2 days after Christmas I got the best Christmas present yet. I killed this snow goose on an afternoon hunt. The geese wanted in the field to roost and I picked out the lowest bird and killed him. It wasnt til the dog picked it up that I saw the collar. It was banded in 2002 in Nunavut. It was banded by the same man who banded my collared Ross goose I killed 2 years ago. The Band prefixes were the same (1587) and only about 2000 digits apart. My brother had no clue what was going on when I jumped clear out of the pit whooping and hollering. He looked at me like I was crazy til I told him we killed a band and he immediatley joined me dancing on the levee. He is 11. I wish he could have shot it but It was a little far for his .410. I'm Having another picture we took framed with the band certificate and Im gonna hang the collar on the frame and give it to him for his birthday in April.

We shared one more hunt the day after Thanksgiving in the AR Green Timber. We Killed 26 mallards but I dont have any pictures due to the camera running out of battery.
