Postby DRUM07 » Fri Dec 05, 2003 4:18 pm

I know this isn't a duck hunting post, but this just shows what kinda deer MS can produce.

I don't think that pic is real. Notice the shadows from the brow tines. From the shadows, the light source would have to be from below and to the right of the deer. This isn't consistent with a camera flash or natural lighting.

Looks like someone is having fun with Photoshop.

I could be wrong, but the photo looks fake.

I just saw on msdeer where they had to delete the post on a huge 8 point killed in the madison area on the big black. msdeer has an agreement with north american whitetail magazine not to post photos, said it would be a story very soon. This is consistent with what happened last year on the huge 8 point killed around meridian.

K...if you guys have seen it, then I'll believe it. I wish that picture was clearer though. I still think the shadows look funny.

the wide angle lens used distorts the relative sizes in the photos. a.k.a. makes things look outa whack
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

Man micah, I see what you're saying now. That deer's rack looks freakishly big, especially that bow out in the main beams. If that;s real, dang.

This deer is legit. It was killed in Madison County, Ms and was green scored at 184! I have heard it may be the new #2 whitetail in The United States!

anyone confirmes if this is for real?

looks fake to me, in fact if you tilt your head a little to the right and let your eyes go out of focus just a little you can almost see what was superimposed and what wasn't

also blood on both sides of the rack the way that deer is laying and the way the head would have beeen lying on the ground would only allow blood to be on the right or ground side

plus if it is for real you think he would be smiling bigger or maybe even have worn camoflauge to kill it (if that is the hunter)

JMO
I'm sure its fake

Looks like the two fingers on the gentlemans left hand are also swollen or enlarged. Compare them with the other fingers that are behind the antler.

I know the guy that killed it. It is real, he told me the story about killing it. The picture is not fake or manipulated. It is just a huge deer. He and his family have been killing really big bucks for years.

I agree with drakes head, the left hand does not look natural
