Pretty birds. There always are a few around south louisiana the entire season.
Shoot them sprigs on their first pass!

We killed a few in Boston this year. Got a male/female pair in the freezer waiting to be dropped off.

Surely the longer a man duck hunts the wealthier he becomes in experience,in reminiscence,in love of nature,if he goes out with the harvest of a quiet eye, free from the plague of himself

We always have a few knocking around down here all season. See very few in the delta. Nice pic, Jack.

Funny how that powder blue is just about the same color as the blue on a spoon. How mother nature could match that color on two different birds is pretty amazing. Hell I can't get two gallons of paint that are the same color.
No, i don't want to know you ---- teul

We have killed several this year in the south delta. My buddy picked one up the other day looked at it and said "he must be lost".

I went meet with a new taxidermist in my area. It's a friend of mines cousin, so went look at his work. Overall very quality work, he's won some competitions with some mounts and his prices are resonable.

I had an idea of what I wanted to do with my pair, but after seeing some stuff in his catalog, I'm back to the drawing board and undecided. :? :? :?
