Best post on this site in a while. Thats the reason I didnt comment on that post, the way I see it he is my commander and chief and no matter how much I disagree with him from time to time, he is my leader. Thanks for your service

as one of the older fellows on this forum i must say "well put"

running down our leader only makes us weak in foreign eyes..it will be a hoot if he makes the best president we have seen in decades..give him a chance, he has only been our commander for a few hours now. Thanks Jake, you chimed in at the right time...

I wish the best for our president in guiding our country on its course to American greatness but do not support his views on socialism, millitary reduction, socialized medicine and government bailout. Other than that I hope he does well...

I'm ashamed of the people who put this guy in power as the leader of our country.

I don't really know if I can support the man if his future decisions end up going against my personal beliefs.

I respect the office of the POTUS but I don't believe a majority of the folks that voted last November do.

Thank you for your service.

Are we as ashamed when people in California burn American Flags or support Palestinian Terrorists? Or do we just say, well that's their right to free speach.

I'm not ashamed someone made a racist remark. That just shows their ignorance.

That's what Makes America.... well America.

I am ashamed that our country would vote in Barrack Obama.

His associates
His books that point out his true views
His voting record
His shady dealings

I'm not as ashamed that our country would vote him in over Gandpa McCain and the all time worst political move Mrs. Unqualified Herself... The "Hockey Mom" Palin.

Obama's only saving grace in my eyes is that a bunch of his liberal buddies from Harvard said he was a nice guy and everyone liked him. So maybe he really is and he'll do the right things.

We'll see how that works for him if he's got to make any hard decision.s

I wish him the best. I hope he does a great job. I want him to do a great job.

We'll see if he gets it done.

JAKE, FROM ONE VETERAN TO ANOTHER, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! Some of those comments were indeed out of line.

However, it is hard for a man that has not served to understand that there is a job to be done regardless of who the commander-in-chief is.

I respect him and wish him well, even though I despise his views, ON EVERYTHING.

The sad part about the whole deal is that he was elected into office by a group of people who have no idea about anything that he stands for, nor do they have any respect for the office or themselves, as they have proven that due to their own laziness. The majority of the people that voted for him only have a concern for themselves and an easy out to some good old fashioned hard work and an honest dollar. That is what frustrates a hard working man who pays taxes like all the guys on this site. A man that waits on a check every month should not even be allowed to vote in my opinion. Our society as a whole is racist, especially our media and press. Otherwise we would be talking about our next president Barrack Obama, and not our first Black President Barack Obama.

As you know as well as I do it is frustrating defending the people of this country who don't even have the self-motivation to help themselves, but somebody's got to do it right?

Again thank you for your service. Don't leave this website site due to some shrewd comments that should have not been made. Generally things are on the up and up around here and its a good time. Would love for you to stay.

+1, same here. i actually heard someone (of African-American ancestory) say Obama will fix it so we don't have to pay our light bills anymore.!!

What kind of people is it who think this way? Do they actually believe that will happen? Some, for now, at least think so.

I thank any and everyone for their military services, but with our future president, one can only hope just how much military we will have in the future.

All in all, this is the INTERNET. People say things that some people dislike and so on. Once more, it is the INTERNET. I personally have not read that thread and likely won't, but again this is the internet and people say things. Sometimes it's in joke and there may be some people that are serious. Just learn not to take EVERYTHING that you read to heart or seriously. Yes, you must have taken it seriously to make a post of this nature. I'm not saying one person is wrong or one person is right, I'm just saying that this is the internet and you just can't take everything seriously.
