ha actually my brother lost it and if yall could hear the story you would die laughing. He had 3 folks from atlanta out at our duck camp that had no idea how to hunt bout day three he was pizzed cause he was missing prime time rut and i was hard and heavy on the deer. Well one ole boy hunting with them wanted to go to casino so after day three they load everything in boat and head towards town bout a 10 mile trip in boat when water is up. They are running wide open and two of the out of staters are in front of boat like two nots on a log and did not motion to go right or left he hit a log and motor jumped off. needless to say he bout lost his cool. the dang motor was so heavy and bulky its not a bad loss but we would of much rather sold it or traded or something besides letting it hit the bottom.

Little loss or not, a loss is a loss. I hate to hear that. Now you gotta fork out some cash for a motor. And your right, nothing like a couple guys who get "giggly" and think everything is funny to ruin a hunt. I've had my experience with those guys.

The next question is, who had to paddle home after the motor was ripped from its mounts?

Was the boat damaged at all? I would think if my boat hit a log at full throttle that my transom is history.

Go ahead and add 2 spot lights and a trolling motor mount to the list. Casualties indeed.

I lost my wood duck call the other morning. Local walmart don't have anymore in yet. That little whistle has called some in this year for me! Also lost a pair of camouflage sunglasses that I got before the season. Not a season that goes by that I don't lose something!

I got to add flashlight to the list now. Duck hunting gets expensive.

Guys if your phone gets wet - Take it apart and put it on top of a table lamp. For some reason the heat from the bulb dries it out and they seem to work.

oh almost forgot about half a dozen decoy weights....apparently u can crimp the decoy line too tight and make it fragile so that it breaks

A few decoys weights, screw-in tree hangers, my favorite pair of gloves (wet gloves on a freezing boat = no palm).
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)
