I have been to Malmaison 3 times this season and have yet to see Mr. Adams. They will not enforce this crap. I got there one moning around 4am. I was second in line and I got out into the holes and my first 2 choices were occupied. Explain that.

I believe you might be trying to snooker some folks. A little birdy told me that there were several tickets handed out for the early departure infraction.

Well I'll tell you that I saw Mr. Adams Friday morning because he checked us, but I can also tell you that there were lots of folks in there way early. There were trucks at the 4-wheeler trial at 3:00 am and they were nowhere to be found. I just don't see how they are going to enforce this. It was my first experience hunting these holes in a long time. I doubt I'll be back on a weekend.

I have never hunted either the Scatters or Greentree and would like to at least do some scouting in those areas. Does anyone know if there is a specific time that you have to be off the water? Can you hunt these areas in the evenings?

I'm glad all of ya'll post topics on public hunting areas for ALL THE WORLD TO SEE. That is really going to lower the hunting pressure on your prospective holes.

Torch, I don't think anyone who has duck hunted has not heard about Malmo and the Scatters, and I have yet to see anyone talk about how many ducks aren't there.

I saw the tickets that were issued in Malmasion to 5 kids tthat went in to the hole a 3 am. Dale checked the launch for people and those were unaccounted for. He launched and went looking for them, found them, made them come out, wrote the tickets and told them they could go back a 5 am like the reg states. Get this, he also got 2 guys that had killed 11 wood ducks, how much is that gonna cost...

RNAIL
I am glad to hear he busted those guys for to many woodies. Opening weekend we watched a group of kids blast every woodie that came their way. I have only seen Dale at Malmaison once and it was a bad day. We shot a Pintail last year before it was legal. He had no tail and he flew in with a bunch of grays. Some guy(I did not know) that came with my hunting buddy actually shot the duck. 650 biguns was the fine. He asked us to help pay it. HA

has benny been replaced by someone?

your right torch what your saying is true some have not had the chance to experience it yet. No matter what some will stir and stir , they dont want freinds on the board there goal is to get a rise out of someone...best thing we can do is just ignore them and hope they move on.
