(SOLD) 2009 South Dakota Pheasant opener...

Postby Double R 2 » Thu Jan 15, 2009 2:43 pm

I don't do these types of posts often - and won't make it a habit - but when we're booked lodge-capacity for October 2009 this far in advance and then all of a sudden the opening weekend becomes available, figure y'all wouldn't mind the heads up too bad....

On the heels of the best South Dakota pheasant hatch in 40 years [more] and following some of the most incredible pheasant hunting we've ever seen, the first 2 weeks of the 2009 South Dakota Pheasant season were booked before Christmas Eve 2008! Citing economic hardship, however, the 2009 Opening weekend, (October 17-18, 2009) became available this morning by a group of valued clients that has hunted these dates for the past 3 consecutive years. Maximum occupancy is 12 hunters and the $395 daily rate includes first-class lodging, chef-prepared meals, open bar at night, world-class shooting during fully-guided hunts, local transportation, daily maid service, etc.,. We expect this opportunuty to close within the next week to 10 days. If you or anyone you know is interested in a great South Dakota Pheasant Hunt, please visit our website http://GetDucks.com/wingshooting/north_america/south_dakota for more info or call me at 601-214-9737 or toll free 1-866-438-3897. Deposit of 50% reserves dates. Thanks and best regards, Ramsey Russell

The ones in Kimbel dont look so good, I have never wanted to get back to MS so bad in my life. Great huinting up there just not many southern bells to look at. Ramsey I sent the add to my dad and uncles as they go up there a good bit. Maybe they will look into it and if nothing else they have your website and contact info for the future

He seemed kinda purty when I met him too. Of course it was before daylight and I was real sleepy so I may have been mistaken.

Let me just say this. The ones in Chamberlain and Mitchell are definite step above the ones in Winner and Dallas (all SD towns). All the locals in Winner told us to go to Dallas. Trust me, stay away from Dallas, SD, and take a kevlar suit if you decide go.

All 12 spots SOLD. Congrats - you boys are going to have the pheasant hunt of your lives. There's nowhere on the face of earth I'd rather be the South Dakota during the pheasant opener. The local women look like dukbum (on a good day), but following your hunt there a private lake stocked with rainbow trout, a big screen TV, nearby Cabela's and open bar.
