Winchester Super X3

Postby ltDangle » Mon Dec 22, 2008 11:18 am

Anyone hunting with a winchester super X3? My O/U is about worn out. It shoulders better than the benelli and Bretta. However, if it won't work then it is useless.

Thoughts?
Wait until their feet drop, then shoot them in the face!!

Have not heard anything bad about previous models. I have a buddy that has a brand new one with the duck blind camo that won't cycle 3 1/2's very well at all. He's tried all kind of ammo and they all have problems ejecting. He's waiting for the season to end before sending it to Winchester to get fixed. After taking it back to our local hunting store he was told that it was the fifth SX3 brought back that was having the same problems. Just a minor flaw that will be fixed by Winchester after the season is over. It is a nice gun to shoot.

I bought one last year and haven't had a bit of trouble out of mine. I've shot the Browning Gold Hunter and the SX2 and they are all about the same. I've also been told that the Browning Silver is a good gun too.

I bought one before last season and have not had one single problem out of it.
