Postby pntailhntr » Thu Dec 18, 2008 9:35 am

Anybody killing anything at Muscadine. I have a hunt on Sat and I'm looking forward to it!

Now you all know me, I"m NOT an internet scouter, I'm going come hell or high water, just wondering if I'm going to be bored or have a blast. I'm in unit 10!

Went this morning. Lots of birds there. We didn't do real good because of the thick fog. Try and surround the hole that they are in at first light and shoot what you can when they get up. Then find a spot and set up. Don't get impatient, stick it out and birds will come in there. You may have to move to different spots if you see that ducks are hitting certain areas. If you are taking Champ make sure you have a dog stand for him to get on. You may have to get out in the middle of the ponds to do any good.
