Hello, new to the forum.
Hello folks,
I'm new to the forum; but not new to duck hunting. My family and I live near Picayune, down by the coast, and for the first time in a decade I can finally get outdoors and enjoy myself again.
I've had few opportuities to waterfowl here in Ole' Miss and I look forward to reading and learning from your posts.
Be safe and enjoy yourselves.

Re: Hello, new to the forum.

Re: Hello, new to the forum.
Thanks for the welcome!
My boys and I went out to Old River WMA last weekend, what a disappointment! What Katrina and the loggers hadn't left in a tangle, the Boxwood and Briars had choked solid. We saw a few Woodies, but no luck.
I got pretty accustomed to Sea duck hunting while stationed up north. The ducks were plentiful, easy to decoy in, and 200 yards off the beach property was everywhere to be had. Not a bad gig!
Well hunting in the aftermath of Katrina's catastrophy, sea duckin' is looking pretty good. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Thanks for the welcome and stay safe.
