dad went in for a catheterization and a possible stint to be placed last wednesday. long story short, they stopped the procedure and he is either having a triple or quadruple bypass in the morning. i guess we are lucky they caught it. he was pretty much a ticking time bomb, so to speak. i hope this fixes everything.
surgery went very well. one of the arteries was too calcified to even repair, but the doctor didnt seem overly concerned about it. he will be in the icu for a day or maybe two but will be home by friday or saturday. it was hard seeing him come out of surgery with all of that chit on him, but i know, now, that he is going to be ok. thanks for all of the support.....i needed it.
