xpress I'm in Leland but my business partner (chevy01234) is from Greenwood but we work all over the Delta with the boat.

Lodi your right, it would be very expensive and ROUGH.

I think chevy and lawdawg can both attest to how bad an airboat ride in a stump field is

One more point and it is a serious one. Operating a watercraft in an unsafe manner(25mph through cypress knees comes to mind as does swamping other craft) is a ticketable offence by MDWP and the US Coast Guard and is a dumb thing to do. In my line of work I see all kinds of accidents on the water and small craft turn out alot worse than big commercial boats/ships.

A guy who works on here lost a 10y/o son who was sitting on the bow of a pontoon boat and the kids cousin was driving(16y/o) and thought it would be neat to "jump wakes" of passing PWC's. He bounced up and off the bow going in between the 'toons and the 75 horse motor cut him near in two. His older brother and sister were also on the boat and big brother jumped in to try and save him and held his two halves together but the little guy faded fast.

Have an older cousin whos young daughter broke both her arms and left most of her teeth embedded in the fiberglass(had lots of facial surgery to reconstruct her beautiful little face) on a nice bow rider that the family was riding in to go out to their camp in SE LA. Just left the launch and was pulling out when a yahoo with a "big fine 40k bass boat smaked into them. No way he should have been going full throttle with the launch just around the bend but he had the biggest and baddest rig and thought he "owned" the river!
