hey dos gris, i had a couple of good dove shoots this past week. some of the biggest doves i can recall. thought at first i had a migration of those euro-asian birds.. they were just big ole bronze breasted mourning doves... don't take many of those to fill a grill... i hunted by myself, hard to find anyone to shoot on the last two seasons.. nothing like a hunter and his dog for solitude and fun..

ain't smart enough to post pics....haha... i'm about as wide between the eyes as a blue-racer snake when it comes to puters. guess i could mail em out....... take care and enjoy...

I went to Isola last weekend to let my beagles stretch their legs on some rabbits. Didn't jump a single one. The field wasn't planted this year and was recently bushhogged. Saw a BUNCH of doves. Did'nt want to shoot much around the dogs since we weren't seeing any rabbits. Went back Saturday and durn if they had moved further south. Killed only six after seeing several hundred last weekend. They were definetly moving through.
