Happy First Hunt

Opening day was the first hunt for Bear, a 1 year old choc. that me and my dad trained. I was worried about how he would do, but after the first shot he had the first bird of the year. He picked up the first 4 out of five. Had to shut him down to let the others get some work. I couldn't have been any prouder.

My dog had first hunt on opening day but was not able to pick up a bird til Sat. First bird was a drake woodie. Just the first of many more to come.......

Have yet to enjoy that, as my dog can only be seen in that situation by close friends and no more then 2 at time so they cannot collaborate against me. I'm looking forward to the first hunt with her though...
