I can't imaging how you felt. Just brought back memories.
I had a 6 month old chocolate lab named KoKo named after (KoKo Beware) don't ask me why................any way went to my grandparents house for the day. When we return, we found our dog hanging on the fence by his collar. We thought he had jump up and got hung on the fence. Well.........we where wrong. The old boy was off telling people what he did to our dog. My dad found out. Didn't do a thing about it. He thought the old boy might try to hurt me or my brother. While my dad was at work. We were 7 and 4 and the old boy was about 15. Evey time I saw that sucker I wish the worst on him. Oh well.........I will never get my chance at him. He got Life in Prison for murdering a little old lady!

My dad use to say "it could of been us".

Man, I feel your pain. Lost mine Saturday night. Hit by a car on a mission to see a female I guess. He had never gotten out of the kennel before and he took off Friday from the front porch. Went and tracked him down almost two miles from the house on the road. Put him in the kennel Saturday and he stayed there all day until we went out to eat Sat night. Came back an he was gone! Found him Sunday morning on the side of the road about 1/4 mile from where he was Friday. Best dog I've ever had and I've had 4 of them now. Hurts to the bone.

sorry to hear that about your 2 yr old lab i would return the favor to the person who did that to my dog
