If money wasn't a problem I'd be pumping now. going to wait a little on Ma Nature for about a week then, gulp, crank em up. Got 1200 acres of zerograde to pump, so would have to pump a good bit. :?

Caller1 I feel for you that zerograde dirt takes awhile to flood thats why my dad always has our cotton fields sloped at least a few tenths that way it doesn't take a year and 10 days to water. My holes never had the water off of them thanks to my beavers and since the plug up one of my culverts I've got about 5 acres of milo from a dove field under water that I've already seen several greenheads and about 50-60 year round woodies on.

We put the boards up a few weeks back. I already have 50 acres with enough rain water to float dekes. I have another 180 acres that will need to be pumped but will hold off for at least another week. Maybe a few rains will come and save the old farmer some money. As long as I got water the weekend before the shooting starts, I don't care how it gets there.

I pumped about 8 hours last weekend to make sure everything was working okay. Didn't pump 30 minutes before pump broke this weekend. Anybody know anyone who works on gas pumps?
