insulated, one thing I cannot bear is COLD FEET

Screw Lacrosse................get you some MUCK boots (Woody Max is model). Way more comfortable and way warmer than Lacrosse.

They may be more comfortable but not as durable as the Lacrosse. Go with the Lacrosse.

If your still hunting.. Then 800 is the least I would go. I have some 800s and my feet still get cold once or twice a year when the temps dip below freezing. If you do a good bit of walking then you may get away with less than 800. If I had to do over again I would go with 1000...

Re: Lacrosse Alphaburly
What are you guys doing to your boots? I have had my Muck Fieldmasters for 6 seasons, hunted in boats, in shallow water, in deer stands, in rabbit thickets, have worked in them, grilled in them, drank in them, done yard work in them and never knocked a hole in them until last winter. I was getting out of the boat and hung them on an exposed bolt on the blind, ripped a small hole in the neoprene and have never leaked yet. I also have a pair of Burlys, that have been sitting on the shelf of my garage since I got my Mucks, they are great boots, but very heavy, and not nearly as warm as the Mucks, just curious cuz I have seen this dicussion on here before.
Re: Lacrosse Alphaburly
The best thing to do is go and try on all the different pairs. That is how I came across the Alpha boots. They are the ones that fit the best so that is why I got them. The Alpha's feel like tennis shoes to me.. There is a big difference between alpha burly and the regular burly.
