well delta that is what i plan to do heck 75.00 for a day of dove hunting.Man I could get rich!!!!!!And quit tresspassing boy!!!

Now wingman you are out there buddy i have to say my little buddy mag is on the money.I have hunted with you for two years and they have been outstanding hunts but i will not pay 75.00 for a day. thats highway robbery and heck if you had that many people hunting on all those days you shouldnt need 75.00 a day.now let me say you told us no firewater  and i recept that and didnt bring any beer.but you are talking about drinking at a du event and dove hunting WELL CRAP I DONT WANT TO HUNT WITH A BUNCH OF PEOPLE THAT ARE DRINKING AND HUNTING DOVE!drinking at a du event and drinking at a dove hunt are two different situtations you should know that ROB.and just because someone has a drink doesnt mean that they are going to get drunk.not everone gets drunk and crawls on the floor each time they have a drink.MAN IS THAT A 16 HAND HORSE OR A 22 HAND HORSE YOU ARE ON.I dont want a bunch of people out drinking and driving or hunting or fishing but a drink never hurt any one. THAT MIGHT BE YOUR PROBLEM!

SO TO EVERYONE HAVE A DRINK ON ME AND JUST RELAX.........DUCK SEASON IS JUST 22 DAYS AWAY

hey spoonie, you ever thought what that $75 per person goes towards........the seed, the chemicals, the new spreader that he had to buy for his tractor.......all that stuff adds up. I know a lot of people that charge over $100 for dove hunts, and people pay it without hesitation. Pay hunts are like high dollar duck calls, you are willing to pay whatever to have it. Are duck hunts worth $250........no........are they worth $400........no...........and they sure as hell aren't worth the $600 mallard manor will be charging.........but people will pay that price to get it.

Here's what's on my lanyard......$450 worth including the lanyard...

RNT Daisy Cutter, Acrylic Chartreuse
RNT Daisy Cutter, Burnt Bois d arc
RNT Short Barrel, Cocabola
Primos Acylic Yo' Sista, Chartreuse/Devil Blue

Are those 4 calls worth that high dollar figure..........hell no........but I wanted them bad enough though......

I'd pay 75 bucks for a good dove hunt... as long as it included the drinks and topless waitresses. travis

Spoonie, whoever you are, if you have a problem with my guide service then why don't you call me or email or give me your number. You can go ahead and leave your real name too, if you'd like.

In fact, I don't know why you brought up the price of a dove hunt under this topic anyway. You will find out how rich one can get off of a pay dove hunt when you start to buy that seed, spray the burndown, put out the fertilizer, spray the pre-emerge, buy a planter, buy diesel, buy tractor tires and tractor parts, run a plow thru a couple of times, spray again for johnsongrass and get out there and hoe burs. Then you can't just count all your money as you spend the time mowing lanes and paying that phone bill. Oh, don't forget that insurance that you'll need when some wacko shoots a head high bird and puts a kid's eye out. Oh, and you'll need to spend some of your newfound fortune on advertising...and I forgot to mention land rent...You'll be rolling in the money, let me tell you. Go ahead and order some gold chains to put around your neck and get a new Hummer to tour the dove field in...you've hit the big time, baby.

I apologize to all for losing my cool and judging you for drinking. I have over a dozen alcoholics in my family up to about 3 generations from me. My grandfather spent time up the road when Parchman was a farm and not a playground. Yeah, seems he killed a man while slightly intoxicated, just knocked on the door and shot him in the face. My dad's dad used to get drunk and chase him and my grandmother around the house with a butcher knife. I tend to take any form of drinking rather seriously. Social drinkers tend to become alcoholics more often than not. Maybe your little boy will be the one who takes a social drink and ends up chasing his wife and kid around with a baseball bat.

And for all of you Christians that think it's okay to drink, stop and think if having that drink in your hand might cause you to ruin your witness to an unbeliever. There are so many things in this world to bring us down, why add another?

damn trav, can't a man condemn us all without you going and ruining it? ...but wait, wingman wouldn't have judged us would he??? hey wingman, my dad has never (you hear me never) had a drink in his life...you see, the stuff scares him, he didn't have a great childhood b/c of the drink and his ole man...but, he never kept me from anywhere (DU events included)...why, because he wanted me to see everything, mature in it, make my own decisions, and live with those consequences...you see, that's what makes a man...NOT condemning others (wait, you crawfished on that didn't you)...i know, i know you never meant anything by that lil "crawling around on the ground" comment did ya sport? maybe if you got your nose outta the air and peered in that Book (capitalized for a reason) you been thumping you'd realize that there are no best or worst sin...no 1-10 in decreasing severity...none of that...in fact, the last i looked, a sin was a sin...murder, aldultery, and judgement included in those sins; in fact, there's some pretty dang bad ones down the list on the Ten Commandmants...you see , there's only One fit to judge and it ain't you sport; but you rectified that w/ your lil crawfish didn't you...so if you all will excuse me, i'm gonna wade outta this pile of crap that's been shoveled up in here, take off my boots, and have a beer...wingman, feel free to drink milk...i won't mind if you don't...gator

Wingman, I'm w/ you brother. I'd rather stand before Jesus and hear Him say, "You know, you really took it too serious", than to stand and hear Him say, "Why didn't you PRACTICE my Word?"
