Bought it from authorized dealer, had to have barrel threaded to fit, best amo is sub-sonic just makes a quiet pop.

You have to have a letter from the sheriff or own a LLC. At least that is what I was told by a marginal source.

You don't need a LLC only your fed. tax stamp $200. But the question still has not been answered as to if it's legal or not to hunt with.

Guy in Tupelo at Tupelo Custom Weaponry told me he makes 'em. He was putting a new trigger in my CZ .22 and told me he has put one on another CZ for a guy to hunt with. Don't know all the rules and regs about having one though.

Subsonic ammo is good to use for noise as well.

Not to hijack a thread, but that CZ is an amazing squirrel gun. It is more accurate than the optics on it which is a $100 Nikon rimfire scope. The shop owner was wanting me to put a $300 Leupold on it to see what it could really do. He thought it could shoot silhouette competively as is. If I can hit a squirrel at 50 yards, I'm happy.

the question has been answered and the answer is yes, if you have the paper work.

Thank you Lawdog, as for Seymore and your CZ it is a fine shooting 22rf. I used to shoot 22rf bench rifles and found that when dealing with amo shoot as many brands as you can find once the best has been determned buy as much of the same lot as you can afford. Try Wolf in sub-sonic black box.

Here's how I understand the LLC and Class 3 stuff. If you apply for tax stamp as an individual you will have to submit fingerprints to the feds and have the chief LEO (Sheriff) for your county sign off on the app. for you. If you set up an LLC or even better a revocable trust then you skip the fingerprints and LEO sign off. Also with corp or trust anyone who is part of the corp or trust can use the suppressor as long as they hold the paperwork. If you register to an individual that person must be present. FWIW.

Now that I have neighbors I'm seriously considering a can that would work with my 10/22 and a .22 pistol to be named later. I really like the Tactical Solutions 22/45 uppers. $$.

Here's my understanding, don't take it for gospel as it's been awile since I did the research.

Federally, suppressors are not illegal just regulated. You have to purchase a $200 tax stamp and pass a background check. Some states do not allow suppressors. MS does allow suppressors.

You need to locate a Class 3 FFL. FFL will walk you through the process. You pick out item (suppressor, etc.) you want to aquire. You complete BATFE form and send in you money. FED's complete background check and if you pass they send you paperwork and actual stamp. Once you have stamp you are legal to take possession of the suppressor. You have to pay tax for each item. Corp or Trust allows you to avoid fingerprints and chief LEO signature for areas where LEO frown on these items.

I have some expreience with a suppressed .22 pistol. With subsonics the loudest part of shooting was the slide cycling. To me this would be great for plinking in the back yard without bothering the neighbors.
