I believe the smart scouter's send them via email. I think there is a cell phone type service that is used to send the pics, probably need a tower close by.

I cannot speak for the Gobblecams, but it sounds like they may be worth checking out. I did alot of investigating and field testing with cameras last year. The cuddeback was to complicated to use, but could justify the price for the trigger speed if you were needing pictures on a trail. If you are going to be taking pictures of a food source or plot where the deer will be present for more than a second or two, I agree with the Moultrie 4.0 IR model. The units sell for about $200 and take nice pictures both day and night. I would recommend using an IR model. Moultrie will stand behind their product well. I only wish there was a way to theft proof them, as I recently had one stolen. If anyone has ideas on that let me know.
