I am a sales manager at an automation company in Grenada. I have a few ideas if you want to give me a call.

We had a guy quit not long ago. Not sure if they are going to fill his spot or not, but might not hurt to send a resume.
Luvata Grenada LLC. is the name of the company. AKA Heatcraft. If you are more into the IT side, I'm not so sure about
that.....we have a ton of folks working in IT so may not have any openings.
If you are interested I can point you to the right folks.

My dad started out as an Engineer with Heatcraft....Since then he has moved into the sales side of things and now owns the sales office based out of St. Louis, MO. His name is Dale Hotard...seems like he is always in Grenada doing something...

Yeah, we use outside independant sales reps to sell our products. I don't know any of them so haven't met your dad. There are so many folks working here I may not ever meet everyone that is employed. We are the largest employer in the area. Have 3 different plants here in Grenada. Use to be 4, but when Lennox sold us they kept the ADP facility and sold the other 3. I work at the main facility on 51 south.

If it is the Grantham that is from Grenada, I watched him embarrass a couple of guys in front of a big crowd one night out at the table tops. Not many punches thrown and it was over pretty quickly. Best friend's Dad lives in Grenada and we used to go stay with him when we were in highschool and go to Gilley's (til the knife fights got too bad).... those were the days!!

Ha ha. He!! yeah, you got some grey hair for sure if you was hanging out at "Gilley's". It hasn't been
Gilley's since I was 15. Don't feel bad, first time I ever went in there it was called Marshal Dillon's. Puts a
few grey hairs in my head too.

Last time I was there was '88 (senior in highschool and wasn't open too many more years, so you aren't too far behind me), the knife fight carried out side and a few cars got dented - one was a brand new 4runner a salesman had taken home for the weekend as a demo..... big dent in front quarter panel  Needless to say, he was freakin' out and sobered up quick, but wasn't about to jump in and break 'em up.
I'm sure you know my best friends Dad, family owned Crystal Amusement, but I think Mr. Terry ended up selling it.

Four years ago I moved from Greenwood to Grenada County, just a few miles south of Holcomb. I wish I'd made the move 10 years before. Grenada is a great place to live and work. There is a lot of jobs tied to the forestry/timber industry in Grenada, Hankins Lumber- lumber manufacturing, Georgia Pacific- OSB manufacturing, Bowater- paper/newsprint manufacturing and Koppers- cross tie/light pole munfacturing and treatment.
If you like to hunt and fish, there is not a better place in MS, IMO. Grenada Lake, US Corp Army of Engineers property, Holly Springs National Forest, Malmaison WMA, and Tallahatchie NWR to name a few. All are within a 15 minute drive from down town Grenada.
If you are interested in learning more about the Grenada swingers, Bigwater or Ducklord would be happy to answer any question you may have.
