Remote Sit

I have just recently started the hand signals. I am having problems with my 11 month old sitting on the whistle when sent out. She will sit on the whistle while at heel. When I give the whistle command, she either keeps running or turns and come back to me. I do have a shock collar and it still seems not to work. Does anyone have any ideas to help correct the problem?

Go back to the basics..........check cord. Make the dog stop and sit with the check cord. Also review your collar conditioning to sit, after using the check cord. Get a helper to hold the check cord and make sure they wear gloves. Sounds like your dog is confused.......make it simple and clear.
