kaustin: Thaks on the info. The Bobo your talking of is the same I was talking about. I did not know there was 2 Bobo. My buddy said it was 15 min from Batesville. I hope we can get in to them.
. Do you think the 2nd week in Jan. would be a good time to hunt? It's about a 7hr drive from our house here in E.TN. So we have to plan ahead.

Re: Batesville MS
Got it.
SFD1540, the second week in January will be fine...if the water and weather conditions are right.

no ted and OJW, different Bobo. Not the Bobo on the Bolivar/Coahoma Line. There is another Bobo over around Batesville. Go figure

There will be a day....

For clarification, Bobo Bayou is close to Locke Station, which is right across the road from Curtis Station.

Which will land you in the Po-lice Station
Re: Batesville MS
If weather and water and food/cover are there, you'll have birds. I've had some real strong hunts up and down Bobo Bayou. Good bit of pressure in the area when things are "right" and the birds tend to move a lot.
Re: Batesville MS
It's a free hunting trip, so go. Bobo is good when the water is up, but when it ain't, it ain't.

Bobo is a small river than runs into the coldwater. Always floods during the winter and should be great duck hunting depending on your food source. I am from Marks and have done alot of hunting on Bobo with various friends. as long as you're hunting in between Crowder and highway 6, you will definitely kill the limit and more than likely Greenheads. again this will depend on the ducks and your food source. Rebelduck is a member on here and he has a place on bobo, mainly for deer though but he can tell you all about this area if you need him too. He'd also be glad to write you some life ins or p&c. haha. he's an insurance man.
