Here is my thoughts - I have paid for several different types of over the counter Game cameras and they all work OK from time to time, but they only work for a one year and then they all have problems. (not all cameras, but a LOT of them)

My GobbleCams have been in the woods a lot the past 2 years and I have not had one of them mess up yet. Right now I have 1 white flash and 2 IR GobbleCams and plan on Zack building me one more.

Zack is making a new set up that is a little cheaper but still a great camera and Zack will stand behind his work 100%

I have two of the Cuddeback No Flash game cameras and have had them for a couple of years......I've NEVER had a picture of a butt or anything like that. They take very good pictures and i've yet to have a problem with them. It's truly a "you pay for what you get" with game cameras as far as the quality of pictures are concerned. I do have a buddy that uses the Moultries and they will show the moon phase and temp and take real good pictures.......I don't know which model he has but if I bought anything else it would be one of those.

This is the first I have ever heard of "Gobble Cams", just by looking at the guts of the camera it looks like they took a regular camera and ghetto rigged, Cudde Back to me seems like the best, check it out

you open up a cudde, moultrie, etc.. and they will look very similar.. they are just similar stuff just with out the separate cam and separate board, and use plastic to cover it all up.. all you see on one of Zack's cams is a little wiring from the cam to board and/or some external batteries for longer life.. i know Zack could (if he wanted and you would pay for it) could hide some of that in and behind plastic.. but shoot they look clean and neat on the inside as is.. he puts lots of time into them.

Comes down to how much $$$ u looking to spend. I have a gobble cam, a few stealth cams, and a bunch of moultries. The gobblecam is far, far superior to the rest, but it also cost a good bit of change. I have several D-40 moultries that i got on sale for $69 bucks a piece at bass pro. They have been out for 2 months with zero problems and are taking a lot of pictures. If you are looking for a budget camera, i suggest the D-40. Mid grade camera i would go with an i-40. Top of the line camera get a gobblecam.

Hey Fellas... Thanks for all the compliments on my GobbleCams! It is very rewarding to hear how satisfied people are with their cameras. Ya know, there is not much money in what I do and it takes ALOT of time to build the cameras. After reading posts like this is really uplifts my spirits. It is great to have satisfied customers out there that are more like friends than anything.. I appreciate it..

I will admit.. The cameras to cost a good bit but that is because the parts are so expensive. I built each camera by hand. I drill every single hole and glue every piece of glass one at a time. There is alot of tedious work involved but these babies are 100% Mississippi made and built to last!

I am coming out with a "budget" camera in a few weeks. I have the parts ordered to build 6 of them. They will be in a black case using a Yeti board and a Sony s40 camera. The camera will have a 2 second trigger speed and 4.1 megapixels pictures. This camera takes some very sharp pictures since it has Carl Zeiss glass in it. These i will sell for $265 each. If anyone is interested I can reserve you one... Thanks,

I got this picture a couple nights ago in my back yard. I set out some bird seed to try and test the camera. This came off my new Sony W80 7.2mp build. I might offer them later on. The verdict is still out on this camera... It takes some awesome pics tho with 2 second trigger speed.

we have had nothing but trouble with our cuddeback... sent it back two or three times, had them send us a new one atleast twice and they still have not done a good job...

I dont think you pissed anyone off. you just asked for advice and they gave you their honest answers. like someone said earlier here. you get what you pay for. If you want a $100 camera, by all means, get a $100 camera. But don't expect that camera to perform to the standards of a $400 camera. I don't think you offended anyone; you just got honest answers.

You ask about a good Game Camera, I think everybody gave you their opinion.

You never did say how much you wanted to spend on your first post.

I know when it comes to the game cameras, I want the best, so I save up for the best and I don't waste me money on anything else.

I didn't make this thread guys. I am just some cheap "illegitimate child" that doesn't wanna spend over 100 bucks on some electronics and leave it in the woods for someone to steal, and I hunt private land if that tells you anything, besides I have one of the older Moultrie Cams and it gave me a little trouble as far as the SD card, but I have figured it out now, it is the only game cam I have ever owned and still works fine. I have plenty of pictures to back it up, I have an archive since 2002, I will still stand behind the Moultrie Cams cause my pics look the same as that gobble gobble gobble camera.
