How much do you want to spend? Gotta ask that first. I will go against the grain and recommend spending your money on multiple cheaper cameras. I have 2 Moultrie I40s that I love as much as the price. They don't take pictures that I can frame and I catch a deer's rear from time to time. The fact that I could afford to buy multiple units more than made up for the cons, though.

With that said, if you have a liberal budget, the Gobblecam is undoubtedly your best bet.

This is the first I have ever heard of "Gobble Cams", just by looking at the guts of the camera it looks like they took a regular camera and ghetto rigged, Cudde Back to me seems like the best, check it out

I have 5 guys in my lease that have cuddiebacks, my gobblecam will take quicker better pictures every time. It may look "gheto rigged" but mine has been deployed 365 days a year for three years now and have yet to have a malfunction. He stands behind his gear and I would certainly buy one of them before a cuddieback. I also know of two cuddiebacks that have been nothing but trouble. I am not aware of any such problems with the gobblecams. I plan to order another here very soon. Just my opinoin.

I've got one of those Moultries from walmart, and I honestly think I'd have better chances finding out if anything walked in front of it by leaving a guestbook and pen on a table next to it.

Had it out over a week on an established salt lick, several sets of new tracks in the lick in front of the camera, and only one pic of a doe.

I can walk back and forth in front of it and maybe 1 out of 5 times it will take a pic.

I've got a Leaf River that is useless. I'm going to make a trotline weight out of it one of these days!
