Need Help Nissian Motor

Man, I didn't know that outboards got kidney stones, too!

Seriously, I have always dug into it with a paper clip, or popped the hose, too. So, I dunno.

Need Help Nissian Motor

I've got a 40 Nissan and all you do is kill it and tilt up to give you access to the "pee hole". If you blow into it pretty hard, it will unclog it most of the time on the first try. Hope it helps, because this is about the only thing that I know how to do in this situation regarding this on the Nissan.

Need Help Nissian Motor

Postby Baldpate » Sun Oct 21, 2001 11:34 pm

I just got a 18hp Nissian electric start.I noticed that there is no hose inside where the water comes out the pee hole. I hunt some areas that have what we call duck weed (you know the little green seeds) all over the water. When the Johnson/Evin got stopped up we just pulled the hose on the water pump and blew the seeds out. You can't do that with a Nissian. HOW DO YOU UNSTOP A CLOGGED PEE HOLE IN THE NISSIAN? Please let me know. Thanks Baldpate
