child for adoption

I have a 10 year old duckaholic, gun crazy, son i will adopt out untill after duck season. He wanted to go last year, but ,we did a lot of swamp wading,so i didn't take him.this year,he's started on me again and gaining momentum to the point where he wants to start youth season a month early.I bought him a 20ga single barrel last year and have bought him a shadow grass life jacket for the boat this year. Also have waders on lay-a-way for him, but, the yungin is driving me crazy and is killin my wallet. On top of all this,as if it couldn't get any worse,my new friend Anatidae introduced him to the wonderful world of skeet shooting at the cook out.Now he wants a left handed 20ga pump,a skeet thrower and as many skeets as we can buy and is mad at wal mart because they ain't got'em in and don't know when they will get'em in.By the time duck season gets here,I'm gonna be bald and he's gonna already have the new life jacket worn out.Does anybody know Anatidae's home address? lol

GHH2000,

I'm in the same boat. I've got a 13 yr old that's gonna send me to the poorhouse.
Good luck on keeping his eagerness under control for another month and a half.

Scott

Well I have a seven year old son and seven year old step son. I guess I had better find a second job to help with the upcoming expenses.

Hey GH2000 Kosy Wally-world still has some skeets left.

I am sure that you all know about the ransom of red chief. I will take your children on one condition. They can come and go hunting with me, but they go home when I get tired (not them). Jack

Shoot them sprigs on their first pass!

My 3 (almost) yr old daughter loved going dove hunting with me this year. I took her twice with the exception of an incident with ticks when she had to go "potty" everything went smooth. There must have been a hundred ticks on her from head to toe...momma wasn't too happy and frankly neither was I. I'm gonna take her duck hunting as well as deer hunting later this year.(she's asking to go) anyway I heard a saying if you take your kids hunting you won't have to hunt your kids...so I believe if I were you I'd give him every opportunity to go hunting as long as he has completed hunter education and actually UNDERSTANDS what he has been taught.

Yeah yo guys grunt and moan. Kids will keep you broke. I havea son that started hynting serious when he was about 13. I have bought him a shot gun t turkey hunt with, a 270 Rem to deer hunt with, a four wheeler and trailer, a API Gramd Slam Spreme Deer Stand plus a 15 foot ladder stand, then he got in to ducks, ---waders, wading jacket etc. It has been expense, but you know what, we have hadsome great tiies outdoors. It brought us closer, we have discussed girlfriends and college before he needed either one. The times we spent together was well worth every dollar I spent. As most boys, when he got this drivers lic and he founds girls, his hunting has been replaced with more important things --only for the time being.

I remember I did the same thing. He will return to the great outdoors one day and I can't wait. You are right though when he was hunting I never had to worry where he was and what he was doing. He has only taken one doe, no turkey, but he has taken a fair share of ducks. So take them while you can still ruin them.

EM R ducks
EM R not ducks
See them wangs
Em R Ducks.
No you call, i won't shoot til (bang bang) you.

Anytime ya'll want to shoot, just e-mail me.....if I can't go to the club with ya'll, I'll put you in touch with someone that CAN. I have a target thrower that I'll loan you if you're interested, but you're gonna have to deal with Matthew's excitement and child-rearin' 'expenses', buddy.

E-mail me about the thrower, you're welcome to it.

WANTED - GOOD YOUNGUN WITH GUN, WADERS, MANNERS AND HALF SENSE.

I will wish I had one old enough the last couple days of this year for a certain youth hunt. My 3.5 year old is gung ho but I dont trust him with a shotgun yet!

If anyone wants to loan me one who is pre-equiped and who has done it before for those days, I'd probably consider it a favor. An adult duck fanatic with two qualified younguns or with one and a friend would be just right, but you have to take the oath of secrecy and If I don't trust you you will have to wear a blindfold. This is a pretty serious offer.

Yes, but you will need either your fake ID or two kids.
