Quick Question:
A friend is looking to buy a lab pup from Field Trial stock. I suggested contacting Mossy Oak's Hunting Retreiver Club to seek out some breeders.
Does anyone know who to contact at Mossy Oak for a list of their members that have breeding kennels? How about a contact number for the HRC in particular?
Thanks
Scott

Try Steve Vires at Online Labs. I believe he has some pups left from his last litter. Phone number is 662-526-5698.

MSU Duck Dawg, check your e-mail. I sent you some info about a litter of pups. Good luck.
"Dixie Boy", I don't know or care what your beef is with Mossy Oak, but whatever it is don't hide behind a user name. I can't speak for Mossy Oak but I can speak for Mossy Oak HRC so let me know what the problem is and we'll se if we can't address it. Otherwise, I'd suggest that if you can't be constructive, positive, or at least relevant to the topic please don't waste everyone's time with your comments.

Why would you shoot your mouth off if you don't know anymore about a subject than that? Quit sitting so close to your screen, it'll make your head hurt and your ass show. travis

Come on you guys take your flustration out on
Bin Loden or what ever his name is and lets all try to get a long. If anyone on this message borad want to know anything about HRC(Hunting Retriever Club Inc) they can e-mail me at jjtbr@earthlink.net. I am the Field Rep for Region 5 which covers Mississippi and Alabama. As of right now there are five retriever clubs in AL and six in MS. Marty Newport might have some pups on the ground pretty soon. I would like to invite all to come and watch some of the very best duck dogs in the world at the Mossy Oak Grand starting Monday Oct 22nd through when ever. It will probably end Thursday or Friday with the upland test being the last thing. There are a hundred and nintyfive dogs entered. There will be two land series and two water series and one upland. Come and see for your self. Be sure and tell them that Bobby sent you. On second thought that might not be a good idea. Just come anyway.

Chance, Brian & Bobby,
Thank you for the replies. I have passed the information on to my friend and her husband. They were looking at local dogs and wanted to give others kennels a look.
I only hoped that some of the MOHRC members might suggest some breeders or kennels for me to pass along to them. I wasn't trying to start up a "I hate Mossy Oak" thread. I wear their products and have never had any problems with the company.
Again, thanks guys for the informative replies.

Yes I'll be there. I need to know what time to be at the hunt site Friday and I think I can get back to it. I wish I had Ben he could tell me where it is.

Bobby---we should get started around 2:00pm. Gonna team you up with Stan Brown from Cabot Ark. My plan is to set-up a water and land series with all four judges and just swap at the break. Gonna take you guys to a resturant close to hunt test Friday nite. Gonna have a great raffle. Great weather, all in all, I promise a good time to be had by all. See ya there.
