Yup, my poor ol' Jimmy is no longer in less than 24 hrs.. After 10 years and 200K, I have officaly put the fork in it. Got me a Z71 today will pick it up tomorrow can't wait, but at the same time I am kinda sad I am gettin rid of the ol' Jimmy, may not be much now, but boy it sure has treated me right and I will miss my old truck. In fact not as excited as I thought I would be now that I am in the final moments with my ol' Jimmy. Anyway got me a new ride and now a 5 mile shorter boat ride durin' duck season.

just turned 100,000 miles on my 95 Z-71 and hope I can go another 100,000. I love mine...has never failed me in the muck...except once and that was my fault because I was where I shouldn't have been.
Good choice.

Jeff, I wish you had told me earlier that you were going to get a Z-71. I could have told you what dealer to go to in Louisiana and get $5,500 off the sticker price.

Jeff, just got a new F250 Heavy Duty Super Crew three weeks ago. I am so glad that other people are going in debt like I did. I sure hope that you enjoy your new truck. Have a good year and shoot alot of ducks. Jack

Thanks ya'll, GH22, still got 5,500 off sticker price, paid less than 30K for it, which is well under the sticker price. I like it, just really wanted a long bed, but it was too dang long, for city drivin and offroadin' short bed was the only way to go. Crew cab would have been nice, but again too much longer than what I am used to, so I went with somethin' a little smaller. Now got the rig, just gotta wait on duck season.

I got an 97 extended cab z-71 and the only thing i have found wrong with it is its a 3 door and they didn't offer a 4 door til 2000 i think...may have been an option in 99, but i don't think so.

I just got a 99 4x4 chev extended cab. 47k and in super shape . I could not go wrong with the price. I love mine. Not much difference between 4x4 and z71. All are in debt now. After I got the truck X-wife wants more child support. Remember when you think you are on a peak, you just may fall and be back in the valley before you know it. WHAT TIMING! But I will be in either Ark or Ms for hopefully 2 weeks in January.

DUTCH DOG the 4th door wasn't an option in 99. That's when I got mine and they didn't start haveing the 4th door till 2000 I really would have loved to had that extra, but other than that I love it
