Interesting Economic Fact

Postby Bankermane » Sun Jul 27, 2008 7:37 am

Due to the slowdown in the economy most retailers are showing substantial declines in sales.

Internet retailers like Amazon, etc. are showing increases. Their explanation is that due to

high gas prices, people are ordering from home rather than driving to local shopping centers.

Shipping costs are cheaper than driving to the mall.

Lots of FedEx's flights are contracted also. Most smaller routes are owned my other companies...Air Contractors, Air Tahoma, Baron Aviation, Services, Empire Airlines, Morningstar Air Express, Mountain Air Cargo, West Air Inc..... etc
