Guys,
We are going to have another dove hunt this year. It will be the first Saturday of the second season, October 4. The field(s) are located near Doddsville, MS, and the hunt will be limited to 30 guns.

The cost is $75/per gun and youth under 16 are free as long as they hunt with a paying adult (limit one youth per adult gun). Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Please reply to this post if you are interested. Provide a number of adults and youth in your post. I will keep the list up to date.

If you prefer to pay via credit card, I can accept PayPal, but please add 3% to the transaction to cover the additional fees. If you choose this payment option, please PM me, and I will send you an invoice via email.

Also, lodging for Friday night is available for an additional $75 per person. This will include supper on Friday night and brunch/lunch on Saturday. Skeet will be available for those that get their limits on the morning hunt. Lodging is limited to 24 hunters.

Update: 9/5/08

The lodging option is no longer available. With limited interest, I was not able to secure the facility.

Greenwood, Cleveland, and Indianola are all within 20-25 minutes of the hunt location if you are looking for a hotel room.

It looks like October 4 is the date based on what I read regarding the seasons. Hopefully it will have cooled down a little by then. The only conflict I see is that it is the opening weekend of bow season.
