I have 00 gmc serria and around town i got about 17-18 but on the road i get 21-23 i have gotton 26 before but it was straigth drivin no stops and stayed at 65

Problem is your depreciation of an 07 in only 1 year. It takes 2-3 years before it's worth getting a new one and won't make up the difference in the gas mileage even if you're paying interest on the 07.


ya, but I run so many miles in a year that negative depreciation is something i just have to deal with. The best way to solve that is just show up at the dealer with a good cash down payment. My work has me in the hood of memphis routinely, and i dont have time to have a truck sitting in the shop, which mine is doing right now. I had a wheel bearing go out and strand me on the side of the road for a couple hours yesterday. Luckily, the 100k drivetrain warranty is taking care of it.
