Re: Delta National??
If you just want out of the house, go for it. Take 2 or 3 shells for the 3 or 4 wood ducks at day light. 10 years ago we used to kill a limit of gads every hunt, but know it's hard to fire a shot.

That place has got to flood out during duck season to be any good now a days. Otherwise, the ducks just don't seem to come to that area any more.

Quackerkiller, one thing you will realize on this forum is that this is not a scouting forum. If you want to find birds get your booty out there like the rest of us do and scout it out. Walk the miles and miles like we do, or hook up with a good "FRIEND" that will take you to a good spot. Don't expect someone to take you to their "hole" unless they are your BEST friend. You are giving the impression of a guy who would be friends, go to your hole with you, and then the next time you show up to hunt your hole, you and your other buddies are sitting in the middle of it!!!!
learn to scout! both in and out of season!!! Do your homework and YOU will find birds and it will be MUCH MORE sattisfying!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!
