email I received...
Probably old but still neat to see, pretty inspiring!!!Subject: FWd: Father and Son
Son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a
marathon with me?" The father who, despite having a
heart condition, says "yes." They went on to complete
the marathon together. Father and son went on to join
other marathons, the father always saying "yes" to his
son's request of going through the race together.
One day, the son asked his father, "Dad, let's join
the Ironman together." To which, his father said
"yes" too. Just for background information, Ironman
is the toughest triathlon ever. The ra ce encompasses
three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer)
ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer)
bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195
kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island
of Hawaii. Father and son went on to complete the
race together.
This video clip shows the father and son competing in
the Ironman event.
The transition from swimming to biking is unbelievable.

That man is going straight to heaven. What a great dad!
Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?
Re: email I received...
Seen it before, but needed it again. Tears me up every time.
Are we gonna get wet?

Team Hoyt is a great story and one that needs to be reviewed often.

When you think about the love that father has for his son, and compare it to the love GOD has for is is ten fold that, simply humbling!
