Season Dates

Just wandering if there was any word yet if the season dates and limits were going to be changed. With all of the recent uproar about motos some have made refferences to changes in the seasons and such. Just wanted to see if anyone knew something that has not come out yet.

As far as I know, it is still up in the air. The flyway council was pretty much NOT in favor of the late season, from what I hear.

no news on the late season... ole SB is related to the commission on the flyway council from Ms. i know i worded that wrong, but Scott Baker knows exactly where we stand and can fill in the info we need... when the meetings take place ,SB will probably let us know... How about it Scott? {a good man he is, with the best of interest to us all}

The dates should be set in late August or early September for migratory birds, the other seasons are set go to mdwfp.com to view them. The only change was the commission stopped the dove hunting zones , the whole state will open on the same day.

I hope we still get the late season again but with Mr. Lott not in charge anymore who knows what's gonna happen. [img]images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img]
