Well...
I had been watching them for a few days. Counted 45 or so last night. They left for the roost. We set up this morning in some shallow water with 2 dozen silloutes (yeah, i can't spell) and a few floaters. They came on a string and with some good calling (not mine, that's for sure) we got them CLOSE, maybe 15 yards or something. It was fast shooting and the 3 of us shot our 15 honkers in short order. They came in groups of 6 to 10 spaced pretty closely. I doubt I will be able to do that to them again

.
The first group that came was 6 birds. We shot 5 of them and the lone survivor came back to the call and decoys and didn't leave. I had heard of that happening but hadn't seen it before. We were blessed with a great day.
FYI we saw 3 small groups of teal. I hope its a sign of good things to come.
Thanks for asking...
