Pintail
I did exactly the same thing to an 870 but didn't realize it until I was about an hour down the road. Went back and sure enough someone had picked it up. His truck was still there though so I left him a note and he was kind enought to call me and return the gun. I traded it in (in Starkville, coincidentally) on the BPS, though, when it started to jam. Imagine a pump gun jamming. I guess it didn't hold up to being run over guite like your Browning did!

AL390 for me....because it fits me and I think I can hit with it.

Always has been reliable...still shoots as good as when I bought it used '97.

My 1187 has been pretty good, fell to the bottom of lake salvador last year and it still hammers like a champ. It doesn't have an owner that can shoot worth a crap, but when he uses it right it smacks ducks. I like it, is it the best no idea, however it does what I need to do, and it is now and forever a salt marsh gun.

Remington 870 Special Purpose, nothing better ever built in a pump gun and camo too.

i got a SBE now and before that i had a
remington 870. the SBE has never jammed and the 870 jammed a few times actually it just didn't pull the shell out of the chamber. it only jammed with if memory serves me correctly federal shells...nothing else. i even shot some of those real cheap all plastic shells i can't even remember the name of them activ i think and they didn't jam.

Remington 870 Wingmaster. The 870 is easy to clean, extremley reliable and has very few parts. It's not the best selling pump in history by chance!
