I bet there are some people that have been saved by a seat belt that would not have worn it there was not a law.

I agree with all of it...the law, the tickets and the fact that they are both stupid....as an firefighter/emt i never had to cut a dead person out of a seatbelt...she should have had it on...the cop should have explained to her the dangers of not wearing a seatbelt.

I don't think that 25 dollar ticket is going to make up the shortfall for fuel expense.......... Some people just don't want to live by laws... These are the people who don't like the police, but they are the first ones calling the police when something happens... They want the police there right then but want to talk bad about them when everything is good.......... Get a life and pay the damn ticket.....

Evidently, you didn't read the post. She was the passenger and her boyfriend is the one who got the ticket. She should have had her seat belt on, but, I hate that he is the one who got the ticket. I am paying the $25.00 for him. The Po Po could have made a better impression by eating her out instead of giving him the ticket.

How much control are you willing to give up, being MANDATED by the government to do it, because it is good for you. And its like taxes. If you ever give it up, the government never gives those freedoms back to you. I understand that some things are good, and make sense.... but the government making me do it? I've got a problem with that ...
