No doubt thats a tough shot, but you did great considering the conditions. White head on a dark body in semi-harsh light, not easy.

You just need a 600 F4 L IS with a gimbal head on a tripod :)

Thats only a $7000 setup (just the lens and gimbal head).

It's been about 6 weeks since I took the first photos in this thread of the she-eagle sitting on her cypress-top nest.

Looks like this dude is about ready to fly the coop. There were 2 babies fledged from this nest in 2007, but I only saw one 2008 fledgling yesterday.
