new ducks

Postby Bobby Williams » Mon Oct 08, 2001 4:36 am

Hey guys I read meters for Black Warrior Electric in Al. I have to read the meters at all of the catfish ponds in this area. I see some new ducks around. You can tell the new ducks from the resident ones. When the new ducks see a truck they will fly. The resident will just swim away. I guess this means that they are already coming in huh? Well as I have been sayin' if someone wants to go to jail come on down to my lease down here. You could fill up three boats with pintail, smilin' mallards, summer mallards, and teal, they are gettin fairly thick already. Just need that one big front up north in Canada and I think we will be ready for Nov. 10. I just can't wait.

Yeah, the cormorants are getting thick over here; won't be long the divers will pile in and then the big ducks will come.

'Never gave much thought to the 'new duck'/'old duck' thing, Bobby.......everybody's got their own ideas. 'Sounds like you've discovered a good method for distinguishing new/old.

Theory of relativity? I guess old ducks are the 'content' ones that

haven't been shot at
they've been shot at, and fall into the post-mortem category
New ducks are the ones that replace the old ducks, and are unaware of the danger (yet) at the new location....Who knows, for sure?
