I think it should be a case by case basis on the collar. With Bill, we knew it wouldn't be a problem, and it wasn't.

You okay collars outright and some yahoo will end up in the parking lot burning the crap outa his dog and making a big scene....that's the concern.

Bill......I thought you used it within the means of the event. I know you used it, cause I was right there taking pics, but otherwise I wouldn't have known. That's being responsible, and I'm okay with that.

Lots of great input thus far, I agree that the events need to run simultaneously to speed up the day, than everything coming together at the end with the big dogs. Need a posted schedule, for sure!!! I like the 1,2,3 awards that encourages competition for a worthy cause!!! More volunteers and judges (hopefully I can help out next year!!!) will be needed so the burden doesnt fall on just a few!!! (Probably could find some of the MSDucks guys that dont run dogs to help out) This event has the potential to get really big so getting the plan ironed out now is a great idea!!!. Maybe have the Big Dog event include a 50/50 Calcutta to help raise more for the cause. All I can say is I had a great time and Im looking forward to next year!!!! I will be glad to help out anyway I can!!

I am sure we will have no problem getting more judges volunteer for next year after the sucess we had with this one. And if you think the tree is something you should have seen the crawfish that was gators friend while he cooked.

why not do both pass/fail and a top 3?

I thought gator was singing to the tree.

Other than that, my only request is that we have two extra helpers to clean up the crawfish area on Sunday a.m. . . . . . that hurt.
