Frogs-is shooting them illegal?

Because I don't call it fun to reach out to grab a frog and get hit by a forearm sized cottonmouth! That gig gives you the sport and the breathing room!

not legal to discharge a rifle across or upon water...... that is why i shoot my frogs on the fly..... just a dedicated wing shooter.....haha.....

Some guys I work with developed a new technique for catching frogs. They use sweep net like the kind cotton scouts use. They just set the net directly on top of the frog and the frog normally jumps up and over into the bottom of the net. Then you just dump him in a cooler or sack. This has worked well for me all this summer.

Wingman---all kiddin aside. About 10 years ago I had a game warden up at Bee lake give us a warning for having a gun in the boat. I dont know if that was because of location or state law. I just said yes sir a lot. He said gig or grab, thats it!!!!!
